Psalms 62

To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him <add>cometh</add> my salvation.

He only <add>is</add> my rock and my salvation; <add>he is</add> my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall <add>shall ye be, and as</add> a tottering fence.

They only consult to cast <add>him</add> down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation <add>is</add> from him.

He only <add>is</add> my rock and my salvation: <add>he is</add> my defence; I shall not be moved.

In God <add>is</add> my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, <add>and</add> my refuge, <add>is</add> in God.

Trust in him at all times; <add>ye</add> people, pour out your heart before him: God <add>is</add> a refuge for us. Selah.

Surely men of low degree <add>are</add> vanity, <add>and</add> men of high degree <add>are</add> a lie: to be laid in the balance, they <add>are</add> altogether <add>lighter</add> than vanity.

Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart <add>upon them</add>.

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power <add>belongeth</add> unto God.

Also unto thee, O Lord, <add>belongeth</add> mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
